The FA–ST1AM Sync Terminal Adaptor connects the award–winning Sony Alpha DSLR to the vast majority of pro studio and location flash systems. The lightweight, battery–powered adaptor slides onto the accessory shoe of the A100. Integrated in the adaptor is a protection circuit that protects your camera from the potential risk of high–trigger voltage of external flash units. A PC terminal in the adapter links your camera with an external third party flash unit via a standard synch cable. This simplifies the creation of a wide range of professional lighting effects, allowing you to site your preferred flash unit in any off–camera position.
