- External Underwater Strobes. Positioning a flash farther from the camera's lens and at an angle reduces the illumination of particles in the water. Ikelite strobes provide much more power and a wider angle of coverage than the camera's built-in flash. Quick recycle times mean that they are always ready for the next shot. Available in several affordable packages that provide everything you need for the best results in all conditions.
- Wide Angle Conversion Lenses. An external wide angle conversion lens increases angle of coverage so you can get much closer to your subject while still fitting everything in the frame. By reducing the amount of water between the subject and your camera lens, the resulting image will be more crisp and colorful. Use of an appropriate Port Adapter is required for the attachment of threaded or bayonet-style wide-angle conversion lenses. Use the #9306.81 Adapter to attach an Ikelite W-20 wide-angle conversion lens or other 67mm threaded accessory lens. Use the #9306.80 Adapter with bayonet-style accessory lenses. The camera lens must be zoomed slightly to avoid vignetting with external wide-angle lenses.
