Packing for a dive trip can be laborious. And, in order to capture good video, you need to have the all the right tools, in the right place. The Light & Motion Travel Packages thoughtfully integrate the housing, lighting system, and all your accessories in one convenient, dive ready case. Once at your destination, pop open the case and your complete system is ready to go. No fumbling around looking for accessories, monitors or lenses.

Light & Motion offers two travel packages with the Stingray HD. All travel packages include a Stingray HD housing (which now includes a monitor back!), two battery pods, a Multi-Chem fast charger, two light heads, two batteries, o-ring kits, and a custom travel case. What differentiates the packages is the type of lighting system you choose.

The Stingray HD / Sunray 1000 LED Travel Package includes the Sunray 1000 lights which provide a large volume of bright and color-correct light. The Sunray 1000 LED system includes a pair of lightheads. Combined this becomes a stunning 2000 lumen (1000 lumens from each light head) dual light system yet consumes only 12 watts of power! The Sunray 1000 LED Travel Package also includes memory-free NiMH batteries and a multi-voltage fast charger.

The travel case itself features the hard-shell Pelican 1520 case which meets US airline size requirements for carry-on luggage. Inside, the case has custom die-cut protective foam that accommodates all travel package components and extra space for additional accessories, o-ring kits, batteries and media.

The Stingray HD has been carefully engineered with the primary goal of making it easy to learn and use for the new videographer. The Stingray HD also adapts to your future Sony video cameras. So simple to use, it makes capturing underwater video images a breeze.

With the design benefits of non-penetrating electronic controls it eliminates the risk of housing leaks typical with mechanical through-hole designs. The standard 3.5" high-resolution monitor back gives an easy view of what you’re shooting.

Modular camera trays allows the Stingray HD housing to adapt to nearly the entire line of Sony HD video cameras—while allowing accurate camera positioning to take advantage of Light & Motion’s high quality optics.
