: HI there, I have a MPK-F40 which I use with a SONY V800E hi camcorder. I also have a SONY marine light which I've never used. To be honest, I couldn't work out how the damn thing attached to the main housing ( i think there's a bit missing).

: If anyone knows of the attachment I need, get in touch. Alternatively, the light is up for grabs if anyone has a use for it. It's a SONY Marine PAck Light HVL-M20. You will need a 6V battery for it.

Terry:

You do need an arm, the foot of which slides on to the universal/t-block mount located on the housing handles, and locks down with a hand-tightened bolt. There is also a locking bolt that attaches the light head to the arm.

I'm not sure where to find one of those original Sony arms, but a Sea & Sea Sea arm should do the job, with a great deal more positionability.

#S29070 S&S FLEXIBLE LIGHT ARM
$ 79.00
#S29090 S&S SEA ARM VI
$174.95
This arm will be a lot more stable. See both at www.seaandsea.com.

The HVL-M20 uses older Sony ni-cad batteries (NP-77, NP-77H, NP77HD) and a 20w halogen lamp, with a burn time of 30-35min.

We sell an after-market ni-cad that replaces the discontinued Sony batteries.

#PR4048 PROMASTER NI-CAD BATTERY, 2700MA
$49.00

We also have the mount bolt for the light head, and replacement 20w lamps. We do not have replacement o-rings, but I can refer you to a source if you have the originals.

For further assistance please call us at 800-334-3549 x42 or 312-421-6000 x42.
