You need a strobe designed for digital camera use, meaning that it can deal with pre-flash or double-preflash cameras.

For use with the Canon or Olympus housings, the simplest compatability is achieved with the Sea & Sea digital strobes, either the YS-25DX/AUTO or the YS-90DX models. In their packages they supply you with all the accessories needed (ie., strobe, strobe arm, camera tray, fiber optic cable, and a flash deflector - which is used to avoid backscatter from the camera flash.) They can be seen at www.seaandsea.com.

Ikelite digital strobe packages offer more exposure control choices with auto and manual sensor models, and direct sync models.
