Many of the photolabs that print slides, scan the slide and print in it on a lightjet digital printer. (instead of shooting an internegative) You might be able to get scans of the images you get printed for little cost.

An alternative is look at medium format film scanners. Depending on the quality of the digital file you want, you could use a flat bed scanner with a transparency adapter ($200-$500), nikon makes a nice medium format film scanner ($2000).

Things to consider:
-scanning has a steep learning curve
-color management is critical, if you want the print to match your original slide. (scanner, monitor, and printer must be color calibrated)

Take Care,

: I use medium format 6X4.5 & 6X7 film.I would like to get digital files and prints from the transparancies that I shoot. Is there an economic way to do this? Pro Photo CD's cost too much! Where can I get this done?
