Hello,

I just started diving (about a year ago) and am really getting into it. I am looking to find an underwater camera to enhance it even more. I currently don't have any cameras (land or underwater) and really need to get a land camera soon (which will almost certainly be digital). This leaves me with three options (unless you can clue me in to a fourth).

I can get a housing for the digital land camera
-Advan: kills two cameras with one stone
-Disad: People seem to say that 35mm film is still better underwater

I can get two cameras one digital for land, one film for underwater
-Advan: probably get best pics this way
-Disad: it's expensive which means the cameras I can afford to get will not be as good

I can get an underwater digital camera and use it on land
-Advan: this would be great!
-Disad: do underwater cameras work well on land?

Which do people think is the best option?

Thanks for your time
Eric Bartee
