Hi Dennis. I am pulling my old camera equipment out of the moth balls, and I have a question regarding my extension tubes. I gather from reading the other posts here, that my tubes are not actually helix, that they are "Nikonos" because they have red and yellow identifying dots. After a conversation with the shop servicing my camera, they have indicated to me that Nikon actually used different vendors to manufacture the extension tubes (that I received as part of a mail in rebate with the camera). My concern is that if they were not actually manufactured by Nikon, what type of O-rings should I use to replace the ones that I have now? The repair shop seems to think that they were actually manufactured by UK or some other vendor, and would therefore not use Nikon o-rings. I just don't want to use the wrong rings and flood my camera. ANY help would be extremely appreciated! Thanks so much!
