The Studio Kit includes the Z1200VC CTD-Soft Light with controller, Lollipop Stand Mount, AC Adapter, Battery Plate, Handle Pair, Extended Control Cable, and a Hard Flight Carrying Case.
Vari-Color, Better than Bi-Color
Vari-Color fixtures offer a true fit to the Planckian Locus (Black Body Curve) with true tint-less white light throughout the color temperature range.
Wide Color Temperature Range
White-Light Mode offers maximum color reproduction from 2800K to 6500K. For more extreme color temperatures the Extended Kelvin Mode offers a CCT range from 2400K to 9900K.
Fully Tunable Color Mode
In HIS Mode any color can be selected by controlling the HUE, Saturation, and Intensity of the light. Colors can also be controlled by X,Y coordinates to quickly recreate colors measured with a spectrometer. RGBDT Mode offers full control on a LED level.
Always True Color
Calibrated at the factory to ensure consistency from the beginning with virtually no variance from light to light. To help ensure the light remains consistent after use it can be recalibrated by the user for accurate colors and color temperatures.
Tint Control +/- GM Adjustment
With the tint control a user can tin the light to adjust the Green and Magenta.
Filter Mode
The light has a built-in digital filter library of more than 300 popular color and correction filters to allow you to “gel” the light without light-loss or having to carry filters.
Effects
With a range of pre-programmed and adjustable it’s easy to quickly create interesting lighting setups for video. Effects include Party, Candle Light, Club Scene, Lightning, Cop Car, Fireworks, Fire, and more.
Silent Use on Set
The Z1200VC CTD-Soft is perfect for use on stage as it’s sophisticated passive cooling system creates no noise unlike loud fan-cooled alternatives.
Bright and Soft
Extraordinary brightness throughout the color temperature range is a key strength of the Z1200VC CTD-Soft. With a beam angle of 130° it creates even, homogenous, soft quality light. With the intensifier (sold separately) the light can be focused into a narrower beam for a high lux of 14,338 at 1 meter.
Stay in Control
The light can be controlled from a distance using a DMX 512 controller or wirelessly via WiFi Remote or with the WiFi App using the WR-1 Wireless Router (both sold separately).
0-100% Continuous Dimming
With two dedicated knobs, brightness can be controlled continuously from 0-100%. One knob is used for quick adjustments, while the other is used for micro-fine adjustments to the brightness.
Dimming Curves
The Z100VC CTD-Soft offers 4 Different user-selectable dimming curves.
Mounting Options
The light features a Central Lollipop Mount allowing it to be mounted freely in any direction. For lighting installations and studio use an optional yoke can be purchased separately.
Powering Options
The light can be powered via included AC Adapter (sold separately), or with two V-Mount Batteries using the 2-Slot Battery Plate (included).
